Celebrity Xcel began preview sailings on November 9, 2025, and was named at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale later that month. She is the fifth Edge-class ship and matches Beyond and Ascent in size: 141,420 gross tons and 3,260 guests at double occupancy.
Xcel keeps Edge-class signatures like the Magic Carpet and the Grand Plaza, but replaces Eden with The Bazaar, a multi-level space for food, shopping and entertainment. Other new venues include the IYKYK speakeasy, Attic at The Club, the Celebrity Flagship museum and the Hydra Room in the spa. Celebrity markets her on Caribbean and European itineraries, including the Greek Isles.
