MSC World Europa was delivered in October 2022 and began public sailings in December 2022 after serving as a hotel ship in Doha during the FIFA World Cup. At 215,863 gross tons with 22 decks and room for up to 6,762 guests, she was MSC's largest ship at launch and the first in the World class.
She now spends much of her time in the Western Mediterranean, typically on week-long or longer round trips calling in Italy, France, Malta and Spain. For US travelers, that means flying to Europe and boarding at one of several embarkation ports on the loop.
