Space ratio: about 40.5 gross tons per guest. Calculated from the published figures above at double occupancy; higher numbers of tons per guest usually mean a less crowded feel.

Oasis of the Seas entered service in December 2009 and introduced the neighborhood concept that every later Oasis-class ship copied: Central Park, the Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade and an open-air AquaTheater. A three-month 2019 dry dock added cabins and many of the newer features found on her younger sisters, which lifted her to about 226,838 gross tons.

She carries 5,606 guests at double occupancy. Royal Caribbean lists her on Bahamas cruises from Fort Lauderdale, including four-night sailings to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, and on summer sailings from the New York area out of Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey.
